Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the WriteScan app and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.


Article 1 (Scope)


These Terms apply to all relationships between you and the operator regarding the Service. Any guidelines or supplemental rules form part of these Terms.


Article 2 (User Obligations)


You must comply with applicable laws and these Terms, and use the Service at your own responsibility. Minors must obtain consent from a legal guardian before using the Service.


Article 3 (Prohibited Conduct)


You must not:

  • Violate laws or public order
  • Infringe the rights or interests of the Service or third parties
  • Access systems improperly, overload the Service, or otherwise interfere with operations
  • Obtain or share account credentials or content unlawfully
  • Engage in other conduct the operator reasonably deems inappropriate

    • Article 4 (Provision of the Service)


    The operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service when necessary. Material changes will be announced in advance by reasonable means.


    Article 5 (Intellectual Property)


    All intellectual property rights relating to the Service belong to the operator or rightful licensors. You may not use such rights without permission.


    Article 6 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)


    The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of completeness, accuracy, or usefulness. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months (or JPY 1,000 if you used the Service for free).


    Article 7 (Suspension and Termination)


    If you breach these Terms, the operator may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice. Upon termination you must stop using the Service immediately.


    Article 8 (Amendments)


    The operator may amend these Terms when necessary. Continued use of the Service after amendments take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


    Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)


    These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be submitted to the district court having jurisdiction over the operator's domicile as the exclusive court of first instance.


    Article 10 (Compliance with the Apple Standard EULA)


    For the iOS version of the Service, you agree to comply with Apple's Standard Application License Agreement (Standard Apple Terms of Use), and the operator likewise complies with that agreement. Please review the full Apple Standard EULA at:
